SERVICE CALLS or DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE consists of one of our techs attempting to diagnose the issue over the phone, retrieving the parts from our warehouse that he believes will correct the problem, and commuting to your residence. The tech will then spend approximately one hour diagnosing every component in your spa before he provides a verbal summation and estimate. The Tech will execute an inspection report and a work proposal based on parts in the truck. If the customer determines it appropriate to choose a repair option our trucks are not stocked for, the diagnostic fee is due and payable. Upon payment of the diagnostic fee, and per request, the technician will e-mail multiple options geared toward fulfilling the customers goal. Upon acceptance, he will schedule the repair to suit all parties - typically there will not be a second travel or trip charge unless the commute is excessive.

If the work exceeds $1000 and the tech is contracted to complete the repair during this visit, the $125 diagnostic fee will be applied to the work order as if there was no separate charge.  If you prefer to complete the repair yourself; we will, upon payment in full of said diagnostics, provide a list of defective parts and even instruct you briefly on the proper techniques to install the parts. If you decide to fix it yourself based on us telling you what is wrong, you still have to pay the diagnostic fee. If you plan on paying with a credit card you must advise at time of appt scheduling. We will email you an invoice so you can complete an online Checkout while the tech is onsite. The tech is required to stay on site until payment is completed to assist with payment completion if necessary. If parts are to be shipped to you, payment via credit card in full is required prior to the shipment of said parts.

HOT TUB MOVING is a Dangerous Job. I have heard too many stories about people being crushed or permanently injured moving these thousand pound behemoths. We do not take moving a spa lightly. We use specialized equipment constructed out of heavy gauge steel specifically designed exclusively for spas. Don't trust your prized possession to someone working under the table and without insurance or specialized equipment. If they get hurt on your property, you are the one that will be regretting your choice of movers. We have been doing this for long enough to know what to do to protect your investment. With a combined experience of decades - we have the know how to back it up. We will also help you out with answers to any questions you may have as a special thank you for choosing us. We Include free calls for technical advice or support on anything from basic chemical maintenance to start up and shut down procedures. That is a $100 value. In this day and age, there are many people out there trying to make a quick buck -  who disappear at the first sign of trouble. HOT TUB RENTALS are fun and made easy by MySpaGuy Rentals. We take all of the headache out of renting a spa by handling everything from delivery to filling to providing chemicals and every drain and haul off when you are done. Did you know we are the only company that rents hot tubs in South Carolina? Weekend, Weekly or Monthly, we can deliver, setup and pickup a rental tub for your special event. Prices range from $100 per week for multi month rentals to $500 for just one week. This service is currently only available in Charleston Metro. 50 mile radius of 29451. Call or email with week you are interested in and we will let you know. In certain cases, we make allowances for rentals in other cities in SC but this is rare. One of the reasons these rentals cost so much is the labor involved in delivering and picking up the spa. Not to mention we chemically purge the spas before each use. A new GFCI safety circuit is installed and tested before each rental and a new filter and new chemicals used on every rental. That's nearly $300 just for our costs to rent a spa - regardless of time it is actually rented. This rental program has 3 spas allotted and stays rented out nearly year round. Make sure you reserve your spa at least 3 months in advance to ensure you have a spa for your special occasion. If it is last minute, don't fret, we do get cancellations and may just have one available if it was meant to be.

HOT TUB CLEANING is a nasty business. Just imagine what is floating in the water.  Yuck - i dont even want to think about it. Did you know you cant just drain your spa water? NOOOO. SC DHEC (Yep Big Brother) has made that illegal unless you prepare the water with a rather costly chemical. Never heard of that? Well guess, what, our cleaning techs endure countless hours of ongoing training to ensure we stay on top of the latest and safest techniques to ensure your spa is bacteria free and safe for your use. If your hot tub is 10 years old - just think - there is 10 years of gunk coating the inside of those plumbing lines. Now imagine that the next time you slip into your spa and want to get romantic with your someone special. Talk about a bio hazard. Our $249 season opening or closing special includes a plumbing (Bacteria Purge) line cleanser, filter cleaning, cover cleaning, spa exterior cleaning, interior scrubbing, complete water removal and preservative applied (to everything) for protection. This annual service is a must have for someone that wants their spa to last forever. Plus with this service, you become a priority 1 customer and get discounted repairs, you also get a 96 hour service guarantee! (If your spa fails, we will have a tech onsite to complete a diagnostic (and normally the repair) within 96 hours) Most spa companies charge $90 per hour. Since this service typically takes 3-5 hours, we will save you money.

POOL TABLE MOVING AND ASSEMBLY can be devastating to any back. With slate weighing nearly 500 pounds, this job is not for the meek or faint of heart. We use special equipment designed exclusively for moving heavy equipment like this with the utmost care. I have been with CSG since their inception and I have never heard of them ever damaging a spa or a table! New assemblies typically run $350 but can be higher based on # of stairs and table construction. A table relocation is more work and is normally $500 but can go up based on complexity and environment. We are experienced with all forms of pool tables and can be trusted to transport and assemble your table with caring and skilled hands. 

SPA INSTALLATIONS can sometimes end up being much more work than anticipated. When you are working on soft terrain or a 45 degree slope (up multiple steps), the job becomes down right dangerous. One mistake and our company is ponying up thousands of dollars. For this liability and the total man hours involved in an installation - these prices are computed on a case by case basis. Most in spot locations are completed for $185; however, you can count on doubling that if a crane is necessary or we have 4' of elevated deck to contend with. We have specialized equipment capable of rotating spas vertically or horizontally without damage. We are able to handle up to a ton and 10x10 feet without complications. If at the time of delivery, we determine a crane is necessary, we will set the hot tub as close to the delivery point as possible (on blocks) so the crane operator can finish the delivery. This is a judgment call we will make and you agree to this. Of course we will never arbitrarily push for this decision but we do require payment once we come to this determination. If one of our techs is needed to assist in the hookup of a hot tub and filling, testing, cleaning and/or chemical instruction - there may be additional charges incurred based on time. Typically $75 per person per hour plus possible overtime charges after 5pm or on weekends. 

SPA TRAILER MOVING EQUIPMENT RENTALS are a great way to save money for all those do it your self to save a buck type people. Don't risk injuring yourself, at least use the same equipment the pros use to move a spa. We have a trailer and accessories (as seen at www.spadolly.com) for rent for just $100 daily or $150 for a weekend. Move a spa yourself! Some people want to save $ and try it with equipment that isn't made for it. DO NOT RISK INJURY AND DAMAGE. Could you sleep if your friend fell and broke his back, becoming paralyzed, if it happened while he was helping you move your spa for a few beers? Rent equipment we use & move it safely. STEAM SHOWER ASSEMBLIES can be very tricky for even the seasoned installer. Our techs have been to California, Nevada, New Jersey and the Midwest to train on every type of Steam Shower in existence. There is not a steam shower made on this planet that we can not assemble. How is that for boasting? Pretty good since all of these Chinese shower knockoffs coming in have absolutely horrible instructions. I actually recommend you ask the seller to send you instruction book in installation before you buy. I am willing to bet they will refuse until you pay and throw some bogus competitor bit out there.  The truth is, most builders and plumbers in SC already use us. If you want it installed professionally, you can waste thousands of dollars having a steam shower improperly installed or you can hire us to come out and assemble it correctly and ever show you how to use it. In fact, if we show up and inspect the shower and decide we do not feel safe installing the shower due to our ignorance, we will not charge you a penny! We are familiar with all shower structures available from the internet, china or Lowes/home depot and can assemble any of them. Typical cost to assemble a steam shower ranges from $200 to $500. If you require service on a steam shower, we are just a phone call away. We can assist in water seals, electrical issues, plumbing issues etc. (If a licensed electrician or plumber is required, we can have that handled.) We stock common replacement parts for steam showers and can probably fix your issues in one trip if you can send us pictures and provide some general info over the phone. Remember - the better prepared we are to handle a problem, the less time we invest and ultimately the lower your cost.

TANNING BEDS have very similar parts. The only problem? The USA is now importing over 60% of all tanning beds sold in the US from Italy and China! You would not believe how many service calls we go out on and end up having to repair or replace all the components because; A) the company is out of business; or B) the company will not answer any warranty requests; or C) everything is fried; or D) all of the above applies. We stock typical parts for American tanning beds that are interchangeable; however, there are thousands of beds and they all seem to have proprietary parts. We are licensed in two states for radiation repair and certified by 3 manufacturers to provide service and repair to radiation equipment (tanning apparatus). It typically takes one visit to troubleshoot and ascertain whether the bed is nonfunctional due to ballasts, lamps, starters, timer boards, or other parts. Special order parts can take up to a week to obtain. If the bed is ancient (older than 5 years and out of production) we may have to have certain parts fabricated, which could take a month or more. We are set up with Leisure Depot in North Charleston to provide these units at discounted pricing. Call Sandy and she will get you a manager only price.

WARRANTY: 1) If you purchase the parts thru us; and pay MySpaGuy to install said parts, MySpaGuy will stand behind the manufacturers warranty for the duration. A labor deductible or pro-rata may apply in some cases. Please ask for details or review our terms and conidtions below.

CUSTOMER LOYALTY REWARD: If you hire us to repair your spa and subsequent to that repair, you have an unrelated issue (within 6 months), we will waive applicable travel charges and waive our a diagnostic fee, in most cases, as you retain us to conduct the repair. Furthermore, we will also provide our manufacturers discounted labor rate for as long as you own that spa! If you purchased the parts somewhere else and want us to put them on, we will do so but you will not receive a labor warranty or any discount. PAYMENT can be made by virtually any common means. We merely require payment the same day service is provided. We accept Cash; All major Credit Cards and checks made out to Carolina Service Group, Spa Warranty Services or My Spa Guy. The credit card or check must have the same address as the location we are providing service and you must show your state issued ID to confirm identity. A valid phone # and DL # are mandatory with all checks. If any of these are not correct, it is the techs determination as to whether he shall accept a check or card due to fraud strictures. In these cases, cash payment may be required. Please advise us of any possible glitches here so we can iron issues out before they become problems. For this assistance we thank you.
